Planning for your Engagement session 

At Central Park

We have photographed here during all the seasons: winter, spring, summer, and fall. No matter the time of year, Central Park is a great locations to take engagement photos for couples who love nature. 

What should you wear?

• Wear something that you feel comfortable in and LOVE! 
• If you love to dress up we recommend one outfit to get some photos of you in formal wear and one outfit in casual clothes. Some couples bring their favorite sports jerseys to take a few photos together. You will have to change in your car.
• Avoid wearing tiny patterns. When looking on screens they look odd but the print just fine in photos. 
• If anything wrinkles easily, we recommend not wearing it in the car ride over. If this is the case make sure you arrive a few minutes early to change into your outfit in your car. 

Can you bring your kids or pets?

• You are allowed to bring children and/or your pets for a few photos and best if we know ahead of time. Please bring someone to help watch them. 

Where do we meet each other?

In google maps look up Central Park Reflections Pond in Grayslake. This will take you to a dead-end loop. If you look up Central Park, it will take you to the Aquatic Center parking lot. You will be driving past this, the baseball fields, and a hill in order to get to the dead-end loop. If you do not see Steve when your session starts please call him 847-417-8302.
