Planning for your Engagement session 

in Downtown Antioch

Downtown Antioch is a new favorite location for couples looking for a lot of texture with a small town vibe. There is a garden to get a perfect blend of urban and nature photos.

What should you wear?

• Wear something that you feel comfortable in and LOVE! 
• If you love to dress up we recommend one outfit to get some photos of you in formal wear and one outfit in casual clothes. Some couples bring their favorite sports jerseys to take a few photos together. You will have to change in your car.
• Avoid wearing tiny patterns. When looking on screens they look odd but the print just fine in photos. 
• If anything wrinkles easily, we recommend not wearing it in the car ride over. If this is the case make sure you arrive a few minutes early to change into your outfit in your car. 

Can you bring your kids or pets?

• You are allowed to bring children and/or your pets for a few photos and best if we know ahead of time. Please bring someone to help watch them. 
• If you do plan on bringing them just know this is a high traffic area. Lots of cars driving by and people walking on the sidewalks. 

Where do we meet each other?

• We recommend parking behind The Lodge of Antioch as there is a lot of parking here.
• There is little pathways between the buildings to the front of them on Main St.
• We can meet in front of the Lodge of Antioch.

We have photographed here during all the seasons: winter, spring, summer, and fall. No matter the time of year, Downtown Grayslake is a great locations to take engagement photos for couples who love texture and a small town vibe. If you also want nature photos Central Park is a few minute drive from Downtown Grayslake.
 

Can you bring your kids or pets?

• You are allowed to bring children and/or your pets for a few photos and best if we know ahead of time. Please bring someone to help watch them. 
• If you do plan on bringing them just know this area can have high traffic at times. Lots of cars driving by and people walking on the sidewalks.
